I have trimmed the centre down (it used to be an odd shape) and used some of the squares on the outer border. 
Still more to add to this border, then another round with a flying geese-ribbon border. That's not a very useful description is it? You will just have to wait to see. I would like to finish this quilt this year.

I'm doing the same thing this week! I'm loving seeing those UFO dwindle down!
It's only in the last few weeks, after 40 years of quilting I really started to understand every quilt doesn't have to be humongous and go on a bed.
