The songs of our ancestors....

The songs of our ancestors are also the songs of our children.

This has a few different meanings for me, more than the tribal songs, or Sunday school songs. or Kumbuyah, or Amazing Grace....

I also mean as a child that the songs I heard my parents playing on the record player remind me of a time when i felt cared for, and secure.... and in turn I enjoy those songs... and now my children experience something similar as I play " By the rivers of Babylon" and "Rose Garden".

The cloth shows traditional offerings of food, skulls, and a statue of Gaia.

This particular print is spectacular, and I look forward to using it on the front of a dress for myself.

This ancestry altar cloth has gone to it's forever home.
