Wildflower

This fabric is so pretty.

Alice in Wonderland has so many lessons at so many levels, even though it is strange, and dark and unusual.



I enjoyed quilting this little table centre quiltlet, and painting on sparkles.

There is also the Alice in Wonderland oracle deck that could be used with this.

There is a lot of beauty in a wildflower rather than a red rose.

I love to be the wildflower, going my own way.

This boho lady's cloth says "I'm a Queen. I'm a Goddess."

Full of affirmations from my heart, she has flown to her new owner.



This gorgeous mermaid has been hand painted to add sparkle and shimmer. She is so much more in person than shown here.

I may just hold onto her for a bit longer.

Elemental woman altar cloth

I delight in the way these come together......

This image has quilting of trees, clouds, stars, rocks and waves.



That is earth, air, water, sky.

I love the contrast of the threads, and the picking out of details. Of course, this one has gone to it's new owner...and I have it as a plan to recreate something similar for myself also.

And master 3 has been creative, sticking glittery, sparkly stickers in matching colours on my kindle cover.

I love the colours he has chosen, and leaving it there for now.

Foxy dreaming

Another altar cloth ready to go. It was snapped up immediately!!!

Quilted with the words "These dreams that come when I close my eyes"

So super sparkly, and I just love the spirit appearing in the stars.

The Witch Is In rainbow

Trying out this felt applique against the background, and it looks pretty good!

So I quilted it up, added glitter and sparkle, and stitched down the felt after that.

Would be a great sign for the door, table centre or wallhanging.

I love that it's a rainbow theme, as witches aren't always green or purple or scary.

I am the centre of my universe

When I say that "I am the centre of my universe", I mean that I should fill my own cup first. I am the creator of my own experience.

I so loved making this one. This one is going out to a different home, but I would remake it with red thread for the writing here instead of yellow, and keep that one for myself.

Alice down the rabbit hole

I have loved making these quilted mini cloths so much. 

It was fun choosing the words for this one....

"Down the rabbit hole"

"I knew who I was this morning, but I've changed a few times since then."

"Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

 And here is the hidden stitching.

I love choosing the colour to highlight various  parts on the mini quilt.

I believe in Magic

This one hasn't photographed the details so well, but I adore this altar cloth.

Quilted details and hand painted sparkly fabric paints.

Looks 100 x better in person.

I am enjoying the process of free motion quilting on small pieces. It's so easy to slide them around.

I tried some bamboo batting, but it wasn't lofty enough,and it bearded.

In Townsville, the locals don't use poly/wool wadding, so I bought some queen size pieces direct from the suppliers and refreshed my thread stash.

Aah. Nothing can stop me now. I have a stack of altar cloths waiting to be created!!
