What the artist leaves out

Now that I've made these two, they are shaking my bones so much that I know I need to order more of this fabric while I can.

These crows/ravens are shimmering, and the egg as a sign of rebirth. Wow! The mushrooms are decay, it's the full cycle of life in this image.

This black lion, is all sparkly, the crystanthemums are sparkly silver, and I've left the moths with no sparkle, and it makes them perfectly moth-y. Whatever that means. It's the artist way of sometimes NOT doing the thing that makes it so special.

I really feel like I need one of each of these for myself.

 

Asriel, Ariel and a crystal grid

This lion has the most powerful, piercing eyes. I am reminded of Aslan (The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe)- his presence, grace and power.

It's such stunning printed art to be stitching on! I have goosebumps looking at it!

This purple and green floral arrangement is another crystal/intention grid piece.

This one with Ariel the little mermaid speaks volumes to me. I stitched these words on it:

I GOT MY VOICE BACK AND I NEVER GAVE MY POWER AWAY AGAIN.

She is strong, independant and doesn't prioritise pleasing someone else, and doesn't need to be rescued.

 

Selling Fast

I'm so grateful that my textile art is selling fast. It seems at this time people are turning within more and more. They are at home more often, and looking to card readers and wanting sacred spaces in the home.

This is what my artworks do: create sacred space in the home!

They all appeal to different people. Photos just don't show the detailed stitching. Videos are better, but in person is best.

I stitch intuitively while creating these. I don't think too much, my hands go where they need to go.
