Can you see that one of the birds has spilt her bucket of milk and is standing in it. Typical chickens!!
I am really enjoying making this quilt. The colours are so soft, and it's the mixture of applique and stitchery that is so inviting.
It looks like I just whipped this up overnight, but I had done most of it before Christmas, it just needed a little bit of stitchery and an extra bucket appliqued.

Oh...I am so loving this quilt!!!! For some weird reason, I am infatuated with all things chicken, and this block is so charming!! The fabrics are great and the execution is flawless!!
