Pokey Puppy on the go

Thank goodness for sewing gatherings or I wouldn't get anything sewn!!
I actually worked hard at a sewing night with Fiona and Debbie, and I've made about one third of the Pokey Puppy quilt top. I need to finish it quite soon. It's for a baby due in April. I've made its twin the Saggy Baggy Elephant Quilt, which is already finished.
I've just realised I haven't posted a finished pic of the Saggy Baggy Helephump!! I asked Mum to quilt it with large monsteria leaves - I think it gives a perfect jungle feel...
The quilts are both gender neutral - I don't know yet if they are boys or girls...
I think it's past time to share these photos...
I've put the inside cover printed square on the back as the quit label.....
I hope I can get some of the Pokey Puppy sewn before the next group session...

Oh Donna, I loved them too. These are the real classics. I love vintage and whimsical, so these quilts suit my taste perfectly! :)
