Hello mango season!

One of the things I love most about far north Queensland is mangoes at Christmas, by the bucket!

This is my first bucket load (they sell for $10 a bucket up here), and the first go in the dehydrator.

I can feel there will be a few buckets this season!

Starseed Towel

This handtowel is appliqued with the triple goddess in shimmery fabric. It's gone to its forever home along with the new release card deck "Goddess Dream Oracle". What a great match they are.

I've purchased a special pattern from Blackbird Designs with a quilt design "The Raven". The book contains the poem by Edgar Allen Poe, and some of my favourite ever motifs: ravens and pumpkins. I have decided to make it in muted colours to hang up in the house in October, before we decorate for Christmas.

I think we are going to have seasonal decorating all year round.

All I've done is start the stems. Hee hee. I am using an ongoing grunge fabric for the stems, as I have no idea how much I need.

This towel in its stunning blue is so absolutely gorgeous.

I have appliqued a starseed woman on a shimmery fabric moon background.

All ready for a special bath ritual.

Another wee witch

This apron has a stunning denim base which is really roomy, comfy straps, great for larger sizer women also.

She is appliqued onto the apron in a sparkly orange/red fabric, matching my hair. Heheheeh

Triple moon drawers

I really think I will have to do a remake of this set of drawers.

This one was snapped up immediately.

I love everything about it.

Even the sides with moon craters.

Totally need one of these for myself, and why not make another one?

Produce bags for the kitchen witch

My sewing machine has worked hard this year, and she is not sewing very neatly for straight stitching.

But a girl can't notice on mesh produce bags.

A very light triquetra charm is on each bag.

Perfect for the kitchen witch/nature witch.

Welcome Christmas season

First go at Christmas wear, at the "welcome Santa" parade at one of the local shopping centres.

Gets us into the mood, and starting to get excited.

Master 4 is going to love Christmas this year!

Witchy creations

Mum rules for creating time to sew: amuse the little boy with creative stuff too.

Ooh, green shimmery witch doing her stuff!

This is one of his "poo poo playdough creations"  It's kind of like Mr potato head, except that most of the play dough was brown (ewww) and you make a poo shape and put the features on.

This gave me time to rustle up a witchy poo apron (hahahahhaha pun intended).

We are all thrilled at the outcome of this poo poo play dough.

Hindu goddess

Wow! These drawers turned out better than I could have hoped for!

Decoupaged by the Hindu goddess pantheon.

Teemed with a special Ganesha deck and Om bag.

I love this theme! And the vibrancy of the colours.

Renae's altar cloth

This is a closeup of a special altar cloth for Renae.

She loves ugly witches, so I put this hag and cauldron in the purple and metallic gold print.

The green background fabric is one by Tula Pink, perfect for the nature witch with faces in the flowers.

Witch dance

Witches Dance tribal belly dance.. here is a little snap of the costumes we wore...

Mother and daughter... I am so blessed to be able to share dance with her.

Definitely need to do a bit more playing in the costume department.

Moth planter

Moths... sacred.. meaningful... divine...

I painted this windowbox planter, and just finished removing the transfers.

"
Moth symbolism includes "Bold", "Brave" and "Truth.

I thought these would be great on a windowsill for a kitchen witch with herbs, smudging items or pretend plants if she wants!

Jack o lanterns

Did I show you these divine little pumpkins?

I need to pop these away again for a while. Wet season is coming and I need to pack away a lot of crystals, statues and candle holders until I have a permanent safe space.
